I like Diamond Eyes just fine, but I never understood the mighty praise it gets here. I think the album is a great start, and they only get better after this album.ĭiamond Eyes as a whole isnt really that great, I definitely prefer Gore and KNY after that. I love the production actually which some people I know dont like how lofi it sounds. I think Around the Fur is a much better offering from their nu metal years. Maybe its because it wasnt my first intro to the band, but when stacked against the rest of their catalogue the song writing is pretty one dimensional. Im a big deftones fan but for some reason Ive really only listened to adrenaline, around the fur, white pony and gore.
